The batmandrill is a monster who appears in the Dragon Quest series.

Characteristics[]

They are a gold variant of the silvapithecus, but much more dangerous; they will relentlessly cast Kamikazee when its HP cuts 1/3, which means an instant Game Over in Dragon Quest II. This can be avoided by putting them to sleep with Snooze or disabling their spells with Fizzle. They are to be handled with caution and must be eradicated at top priority. It has become a rarefied monster in Dragon Quest X, and after 17 years of their debut, they still choose to cast Kamikazee.
