Killing Machine
Machine Family (マシン, Machine) refers to monsters in the Dragon Quest series that have a robotic or machine body, and are made of metals. It’s unknown how they can even exist due to most other modern things not existing in the Dragon Quest universe.

Strength[]
Most machines have high attack and defense, and it is not unheard of for them to possess considerable speed as well. Their biggest defense is their near immunity to status effects, and in most games, total immunity to poison.
Weakness[]
Claws deal 110% more damage to machines, with the claw skill Can Opener dealing even heavier damage. They are weak to Bang and Zap skills and spells in addition to Gale Fource. Additionally, machines have almost no access to magic and very poor wisdom stats.
