Personality[]
The personality of The Hero is largely up to the player, but some things can be gathered. The protagonist is courageous, not showing fear when encountering giant monsters. He is also hardworking, as he shows no problem working to pay for his Airship ride. He is also quite strong, being able to scale giant rock walls and pick up a fully grown man. He likely had help with the latter.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[]
Not much is known about the past of this hero.. He was introduced as a stowaway, hiding aboard The Albatross in a crate. He quickly is found out and is forced to pay by working as a rookie deck hand. The hero introduces himself when The Countess starts acting up. It is soon after when the Albatross is thrown into a storm system and crashes into a nearby island. Joker wakes up to see The Countess, and the airship wrecked and ruined nearby. The fate of everyone else on board is not known. The game says he does not have 2 gold coins to rub together, so the protagonist either comes from a poor family or has been disconnected from his family for unknown reasons.
