Commander Brutus is a minor character and boss in Dragon Quest VI.
Characteristics[]
Like most knights, Commander Brutus wears iron armor with yellow horns. He carries an axe and a shield.
Brutus is the captain of the guards of Arkbolt, and has been left licking his wounds and smouldering with his shame after being unable to deal with a particularly pesky monster that's set up her nest in the depths of the Wayfarer's Pass.
He is the last test of strength the King of Arkbolt requires that would-be dragon slayers surpass in order to be given a shot at the nice reward, and as such the commander won't pull any punches.
