An Imp (formerly Demonite) is a monster who appears in the Dragon Quest game series.
Characteristics
Imp is a small demon. Most times, it is portrayed with a pitchfork and it sticks out its tongue at the enemies.
Strategy
Imps have a very dangerous ability to exhale a cold breath which can deal ~17 damage to each party member. When in groups, they have the potential to wipe out a whole team. Luckily, they do have the tendency to attempt to use extremely powerful spells such as Thwack, Kaboom and Kamikazee, however due to a lack of MP, they simply fall over to their side and waste their turn.
Tips to Combat:
- Fixate on one at a time to reduce the amount of cold breaths they do to the party.
- If you do NOT have the initiative on any party members, prepare a heal to neutralize any cold breaths.
- Treat with High Priority.
