The LordDraco is a recurring monster in the Monsters subseries, introduced in the original Dragon Quest Monsters 2 and redesigned in its 3DS remake. This monster is an assumed "super mode" form of the original Dragon Quest villain, Dragonlord.

LordDraco is an evolution of the transformed Dragonlord, his body has become a lot bulkier and has much larger arms compared to its prior form, giving it a top heavy appearance. He now has many spikes of varying sizes on his arms, shoulders, tail, and wings, and his wings are also a bit larger in comparison to the Dragonlord's normal dragon form. In Iru and Luca’s Marvelous Mysterious Key, his scales has a more magenta tint and certain spots on his body, like the wrists and back, have glowing cracks around his scales, as if his blood vessels were filled with molten lava instead of actual blood.
In his original appearance in the Game Boy game, the in-game description states that the Dragonlord assumes this form whenever he is enraged. In Iru and Luca’s Marvelous Mysterious Key, he is described as having forgotten himself entirely in his intense rage, which is backed by the lack of pupils in his eyes and his tendencies to mindlessly attack anything he sees in the postgame story, which is a stark contrast to his usual depictions who was very egotistical and cunning in many of his game appearances.

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2[]
LordDraco first appears in Dragon Warrior Monsters 2. It can be obtained by breeding using a Dragonlord (Dragon form) as the base, with Orligon as its mate. It can only be encountered in the wild when visiting Magic Key worlds with the 'Lord' suffix in it, but as with all ????-family monsters, it cannot be recruited in the wild.
Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key[]
It is a Size 4 Dragon-family monster that can be synthesized by breeding a Dragonlord (Dragon form) with Stalagosaur. In the postgame, it is fought as a boss.
