Multiheal is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series.

Description[]

Restores moderate HP to the party and is the weaker precursor to the Omniheal spell.

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest III[]

Making its debut, it is learned by Priests and Sages at level 34 and restores 75~95 HP. It costs 18 MP to cast, and is also used by Elysium birds and Flying flayers, as well as Phoenixes in the remakes.

Dragon Quest IV[]

Learned by Kiryl at level 30, and already known by Psaro when he joins the party in the remakes, it restores 75~95 HP in the NES version and 100~120 in the remakes. It costs 18 MP once again in the original (10 MP in the remakes), and is also used by Podokesauruses, as well as Foo Yung in the remakes.

Dragon Quest V[]

Multiheal is learned by recruited Beastmasters and Orc kings at level 8, recruited Snowbirds at level 15, recruited Cureslimes and Chimaeras at level 18, recruited Healslimes at level 25, and Parry at level 30. It restores 100~120 HP in all versions for 18 MP once again, and is also used by Hyperpyrexions, Beastmasters, and Poltarrrgeists in battle. From this entry onwards, the spell's restorative power is standardized.

Dragon Quest VI[]

Learned by Healie at level 18, Curie at level 20, and by advancing to Rank 5 of the Sage vocation, it acts the same as in V. It costs 18 MP to cast once again, and is also used by Mottle mendslimes, High djinkses, Brick, Dogmus, and Mortamor's right hand in battle.

Dragon Quest VII[]

Acting the same as in V and VI, it is learned by advancing to Rank 5 of the Sage, Rank 3 of the Champion and Barbatos vocations, Rank 2 of the Platinum King Jewel, and by mastering the Healslime. It costs 10 MP to cast, and is also used by King slimes, Moosifers, Freezing wingwyrms, Metal dragon slimes, and Trickstars in battle. In addition, it is also used by Bazhoul when he is summoned by the Summon skill. In the 3DS remake, it can also be learned by advancing to Rank 4 of the Paladin and Hero vocations, as well as advancing to Rank 6 of the Champion.

Dragon Quest VIII[]

Multiheal is learned by Angelo at level 30 and restores 100 HP to all allies. It costs 10 MP once again, and is also used by Kees, Frost wyvines, Dark condors, Mohawkers, Mimic kings, See angels, Blue fangs, Dhoulmagus's first forme, and Statue of Hero, as well as King Slimes and Elysium Birds once again. In addition, it is also the Deathmove for the Slime Therapy Monster Team. It is also used by the Darkbird in Memoriam, as well as Phoenixes once again in the 3DS remake.

Dragon Quest IX[]

Learned by Priests at level 38 and by Sages at level 24, restores at 100~120 HP if the caster's magical mending is under 200. Once that mark has been surpassed, the spell will gradually grow more powerful until it reaches it's maximum power of 310~330. It costs 16 MP to cast, and is also used by Python priests, Cosmic chimaeras, and Darkonium slimes, as well as King Slimes, Moosifers, and Mortamor's Right Hand once again.

Dragon Quest X[]

Learned by Priests at level 50, Sages at level 46, Death Masters at level 71, investing 40 skill points into a recruited Slime's Slime Soul skill tree and a recruited monster's Kaifuku skill tree after their second reincarnation, 18 skill points into a recruited Chimaera's Chimaera Healing skill tree, 32 skill points into a recruited Healslime's Hoimini Recovery Style skill tree, and 48 skill points into a recruited Hat hamwitch's Buhib Heel skill tree after its 10th reincarnation, it recovers 80-90 HP, with the amount of recovery begins to increase from around 166, and Magical Mending reaches 896 (the amount of recovery is 249-259). It costs 16 MP to cast once again and is also used by Orc chieftains, Hypothermions, Motherwoods, Basaranas, Archbashops, Elephant kings, Ayashiitakes, the Demon Greeter, and Green Winged Demons, as well as Cosmic Chimaeras, King Slimes, Metal Dragon Slimes, Mohawkers, Blue Fangs, Darkonium Slimes, once again.

Dragon Quest XI[]

Learned by Serena at level 35 and by Rab at level 30, it heals 90~110 HP before eventually reaching its zenith of 330~350 HP. It costs 32 MP to cast, and is also used by Honeyhead horknights, as well as Cosmic Chimaeras, Orc Chieftains, Elysium Birds, Hyperpyrexions, Metal Dragon Slimes, and Elephant Kings once again.

Dragon Quest of the Stars[]

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is one of the Liquid metal staff's spells.

Dragon Quest Tact[]

Learned by Elysium Birds at level 40, Kiryl at level 56, Mottle Mendslimes at level , and Emperor slimes at level 54, as well as Chimaeras via their Talent Blossoming, it acts the same as in previous appearances and costs 70 MP to cast. It is also used by Treeface in the Nature Family Rank Up quest on Hell difficulty and Mortamor's Left Hand once again during the Free the Phantom Realm! of the Dragon Quest VI event. In addition, multiple variants of this spell make their debut and it is also one of Meera's abilities when summoned by the Hero's Call Ally skill.

Dragon Quest Treasures[]

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Orc Chieftains, Elysium Birds, Sham hamwitches, Emerald king slimes, Pearly wights, Admiral Mogsworth, and the Elysian dragling at level 35, costing 22 MP to cast.
