Dragon Quest IX[]
Long ago when the Gittish Empire attacked Wormwood Creek and wounded Serena, she was left for dead until Nodoph found her and brought her back to the Tower of Nod. She went in search of Corvus and died in the Oubliette. This made Nodoph shed a single tear known as Nod's tear. There are a series of quests featuring you trying to get through to Nod. Eventually he wakes from a long slumber and battles you. Afterwards, he comes to his senses and stays atop the Tower of Nod with his slime friend.

Trivia[]
- There is an error in his bestiary because it says that he went to Gittingham Palace with Celestria when in fact, he went with Serena.
- Despite appearing in the game, Nodoph cannot be fought unless you complete a set of DLC quests. Due to Nintendo Wifi going down several years ago, it's no longer possible to fight Nodoph or the other DLC bosses.
