Dragon Quest VIII 3DS[]
The orichalcum claws appear in the Nintendo 3DS Version of the game and can be found in Memories Lane. They have an attack bonus of +133.
It can only be equipped by Morrie.
Dragon Quest IX[]
The orichalcum claws appear in the game as an alchemy recipe.
They are made by alchemising a set of Combusticlaws, 2 lumps of Orichalcum, and 2 Hephaestus' flames. They grant an impressive 138 attack when equipped, and can be sold for 28,000 coins. The orichalcum claws are extremely powerful, even beating the rare Beastmaster claws. They are only beaten by the Dragonlord claws and their upgrades, and will usually remain on the wielder for a great deal of time.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker[]
Orichalcum claws have an attack bonus of +95 when equipped. They can be sold for 25,750 gold. They are described as "Legendary claws forged of Orichalcum".
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[]
Orichalcum claws have an attack bonus of +95 and an agility bonus of +37 when equipped. They can be bought for 51,500 gold and sold for 5,150 gold. They are described as "Attack +95 Increases agility."
