The Silk bustier (or Silk bodysuit) is a recurring bodice in the Dragon Quest series. It is a mid-ranking piece of clothing designed exclusively for female characters.

Dragon Quest V
The silk bustier has a defense bonus of +60. It can only be worn by female characters.
Dragon Quest VII
The silk bustier has a defense bonus of +38 and a style bonus of +45. It can only be equipped by Maribel and Aishe. It can be purchased in Spilton-on-Sea for 7,800 gold and sold for 3,900 gold. One can also be found in the Temple Palace in the present.
Dragon Quest VIII
The silk bustier has a defense bonus of +44. It can only be worn by Jessica and Red and can be purchased in Argonia for 5,500 gold, when the bazaar begins, and sold for 2,750 gold. The silk bustier can be made into a bunny suit with the Alchemy Pot by combining it with a bunny tail.
Dragon Quest IX
It has a defense of 34 and is made by a [Dangerous Bustier x1 Tangleweb x7 and Silk robe x3]. all classes can equip it and it is female only. It can be sold for 8200 gold and can be upgraded into the divine bustier. Its Flavor text says " A superior and oh-so-soft bodice made of silk"
